BABA HAFT IS COMING TO METASTADT!

Baba Haft is back – and in 2026 he’s writing the next chapter of his own legend. After the yin-and-yang double release “Das weisse Album” (2020) and “Das schwarze Album” (2021), which once again turned the sound of German rap upside down, came a period marked by crashes, disappearances and constant comeback announcements. But the Babo fought his way back through rap: With new singles like “Syndrom Stockholm”, “Fettes Steak” and “MUTTER”, the Offenbach native emerged from the darkness in 2024/2025, announced an entire wave of new releases for 2025 and, in autumn 2025, made it clear with the Netflix documentary “Babo – The Haftbefehl Story” just how deep the fall had been — and how loud the impact really was. The documentary reached #1 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

In 2026, Haftbefehl is back exactly where he belongs: on the biggest stages, with arena shows in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Berlin, as a headliner at World Club Dome in his hometown 069, and with a comeback that feels less like a return and more like the final chapter of a trilogy. And of course, Vienna could not be left out: On August 1st, 2026, Haftbefehl will perform live at the METAStadt Open Airs in Vienna. Joining him as special guests are NURA and KIARABABA — a line-up that embodies the uncompromising sound of contemporary German rap and is set to send METAStadt into absolute chaos on this summer night.
