METAStadt in Vienna is an exceptional open-air venue in the heart of the 22nd district. You'll find the entrance to the site at Dr.-Otto-Neurath-Gasse 3, 1220 Vienna.

METAStadt, in Vienna's 22nd district, impresses not only with its architecture but also with its excellent public transport connections to the city center. Wiener Linien makes it easy to reach the venue from anywhere in Vienna, and travelling by public transport is strongly recommended. For individual route planning, we recommend the WienMobil app or wienerlinien.at.

Tram line 25 takes visitors directly from U1 station Kagran or U2 station Hardeggasse to the stop “Erzherzog Karl Straße”. The S80 suburban railway line also stops there.

If you prefer to walk, you can reach METAStadt from U2 station Stadlau in around 15 minutes, or from Hardeggasse station in under 20 minutes. METAStadt is also easily reached by bike, roughly 30 minutes from many points in Vienna. Bicycle parking is available on site.
 

No parking is available at METAStadt. Please also note that a short-term parking zone applies around the area.

We therefore recommend travelling by public transport. METAStadt is easily accessible from all parts of Vienna. For your individual route planning, we recommend the WienMobil app or the Wiener Linien timetable service. 

A great concert experience also means everyone feels safe and comfortable. That's why our Awareness Team is on site at every show and available to talk to at any time. You'll also find an Awareness stand next to the Kesselhaus, where you can reach out before, during, or after the concert. Our trained team is there to help quickly and without fuss, whether you need support yourself or you're worried about someone else. Feel free to approach us any time. We're here for you.

We do our best to make the venue as accessible as possible. On site, there is an accessible restroom as well as a wheelchair-accessible platform with a clear view of the stage. Wheelchair tickets and tickets for people with disabilities are available at rollstuhlinfo@oeticket.com or by phone at 01 96096 202.

Medically necessary medication (e.g. insulin) may be brought along with a doctor's confirmation. Walking aids such as rollators or canes are of course permitted and may be carried by people with limited mobility as an essential support.
 

Bags up to A4 size may be brought onto the site. Larger bags and bulky items must be left at the bag check to the right of the entrance. In case of doubt, entry staff will use their own discretion to decide whether an item may be brought in or must be handed in.

Children may enter the venue from the age of 4. We strongly recommend suitable hearing protection for children. The Vienna Youth Protection Act, in its currently valid version, applies, as do the terms and conditions of the respective organizers.

Bringing animals is generally not permitted, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs. These must be properly identified and meet legal requirements, including muzzle and harness. 

It is prohibited to bring any kind of item or substance that could endanger the protected interests listed in §18(1) of the Vienna Event Act 2020 (Wiener Veranstaltungsgesetz 2020), in particular risks to people's life and health or to operational safety. For safety reasons, certain items may therefore not be brought onto the venue.

These include, among others:

• Weapons and dangerous objects
• Glass bottles, cans, and hard packaging
• Pyrotechnics and laser pointers
• Pepper spray and tear gas
• Large bags, backpacks, suitcases, and camping furniture
• Professional photo, video, and audio recording equipment
• Selfie sticks and tripods
• Umbrellas
• Drugs and outside alcoholic beverages
• Drones and other motorized devices
• Banners, flags, or promotional material exceeding the permitted size

In case of doubt, on-site security staff will decide whether an item may be brought in. Anyone carrying prohibited items may also be refused entry to the venue. Check full list of prohibited items in our House Rules.
